Colorbar BB Cream

I am a huge fan of Colorbar cosmetics: the quality is good, price is reasonable and for beginners it's perfect to experiment with.

I don't like applying foundation on a daily basis so I opt for BB Creams. When I heard about CB's BB Cream, I was quite excited to try it out.

Now to make it detailed, I tried the application of the bb cream with a brush, a sponge and without tools. I picked the shade Vanilla Creme and it's a standard Indian tone. A lighter tone called white light is also available, so are darker ones called honey glaze and cinnamon swirl, but I suggest going to a ship, swatching it with your skin and then buying it.

With the brush- the brush eats the cream. The consistency of the cream is runny, like foundation. Most bb creams are more creamy, and thick and blendable. This one is actually more like a light foundation than a bb cream. So I blended it in with my hands first and then used the brush. Still ate a lot of it unless you use more quantity. The cream is like foundation and the colour sort of separates, like you know those matte lipsticks that u need a base otherwise it gets patchy? It's like that. Use a primer.

With a sponge- Ate it. I used my hands to spread it and then used a sponge. That way, it helped and spread much better over the face. However, it still gets a little patchy and I think that's because of the lack of adequate moisturiser in it. Use primer and blend blend blend.

With hands- patchy. It doesn't blend well and gets patchy. Better with primer, still patchy.

I set it with my Mac Studio Fix compact and it just made my face look make-uped, that's the only way I can put it. Bb Cream I feel, is for a more natural look with light coverage, this bb cream is like in between. Plus it smells like foundation.

It stays 5-6 hours and gives you a dewy look when blended well, but otherwise I think this is a fussy BB Cream.

Would I repurchase it?
No. Rs. 550 for a bb cream that is so much work, no.

I'd suggest the maybelline bb cream as it is much easier to apply and blends really

Much Love.
