Maybelline Master Contour Review

Maybelline Master Contour is everything you need to contour your face in one kit. Let's get right to it!

Price- 1250 free shipping

The kit consists of 3 things- Contour, highlight and blush. To my knowledge there are 2 shades, light and medium. Since the only one available on Amazon was a light, that's the one I got. This kit isn't available in India as such but is available on Amazon.

Getting down to the shades, the contour is a warm brown, the pink is a universally flattering colour and the highlighter is subtle with a little light shimmer. The colours are moderately pigmented- easily build-able. The texture of the powders are soft and comfortable, it is light on the skin.

I like the contour more and the blush is good, but the highlighter has to be built to look really bang on. Otherwise, if you want a very subtle look, you don't have to work too hard.

The kit comes with a little brush in it. It isn't the best brush in the world, but it is good to put your contour exactly where you want and then you can use your regular brushes. It can be used well for the highlight, it's small and precise that way.

Overall, I quite like the palette and if you are just starting out, this is a good kit to begin and learn and play with. No nonsense, to the point, I like this.

Much love,

Richfeel AloeVera Shampoo and Jaborandi Hair Oil Review

Hey Guys!

So I have been using the Richfeel Aloe Vera Shampoo and Jaborandi Oil on my hair. I have used Richfeel Products before but somehow they haven't really suited me much before, though thetexture of my hair is very different now.

Richfeel Aloe Vera Shampoo:

I tried the Shampoo in 3 ways:

1. With Oil, with conditioner:
So with the Jaborandi hair oil and a Tressemme Conditioner (Silky Smooth) variant, I got some really good results! My hair were shiny, manageable and thicker with the consecutive washes and sinc I braid my hair a lot, the braids looked fuller and nicer. Also to be noted, the Streax Prop Serum is  my constant, I have used that irrespective of the 3 products. People literally called my hair 'flawless', though my hair of course has flaws, but you get the gist.

2. With oil, without conditioner:
With the oil and the shampoo, my hair felt a little dry when they were wet and also after they dried, the hair were a little dry and a little frizzy. The shampoo claims to have conditioner in it but I don't think it really does. Hair still felt fuller, but drier too. After the serum, hair were much better.

3. Without oil, with conditioner:
Without oil my hair were not in a good place. Hair fell a little and the bottom hair were drier and less manageable than before. That's also because my lower hair are quite dry while my scalp is oily. Serum helped, but the squeekiness continued.

Overall, my hairfall was definitely under control, I had fuller, shinier hair and with the right routine, this worked for me. However, I do not recommend this shampoo for people who have dry, course hair becase it is not moisturising and may not benefit your hair texture and health.

Price- Rs. 400 for 500ml

I got this from Grofers because I'm too lazy to walk 10 mins to the shop in the rains.

Richfeel Jaborandi Oil:

I absolutely love this hair oil. It goes well with all shampoos and it really nourishes the hair, making it soft and shiny. It is not very thick, so it can easily be used from a spray bottle. It spreads well and smells...okay-ish. It's oil, deal with it. If you are not into the complicated stuff with essential oil and also don't wanna go the commercial way, this is definitely your go to product!

Price- Rs. 840 for 500 ml which may sound expensive but compare it with your 30ml essential oil bottles and you have a winner.

Would I buy these again? Absolutely

Much Love,

Jx
